Who we are
Approach
Rather than just outsourcing the work or giving advice, we strengthen our customers by building their capabilities - we help our clients be better, and it turns out that our clients help us be better too.
We share methods that put people on the same page, that unlock innovation and previously unused skills. We develop team creativity, innovation, and collaborative behaviors to increase the business value of your investments.
Here’s how we think about it:
Performance
We surface hidden assumptions and align teams by measuring and setting achievable targets that will make a real difference in your company's success.
Operational Excellence
We help you take care of the tactical details to make sure that the big ideas land.
Leadership
We help you apply pragmatic tools, principles, and decision-making frameworks that build momentum and galvanize your organization around common goals.
Strategy Definition and Mobilization
We help you get clear on the mission, purpose, and priorities of the team or organization -- and then translate them into a prioritized plan for execution.
Innovation
Through training, coaching, and process design, we help you inspire better creativity and collaboration from the teams that you depend on every day.
New leadership, shift in strategy, troubled projects, or adopting a new methodology? We’ve got you covered. We bring a pragmatic, adaptable approach to creating business value.
Origins
Navicet attracts a community of people, practitioners and clients, who believe that a better human experience is at the center of every goal worth pursuing. We are pragmatic optimists, humbled by experience, yet confident that there is a better way just waiting to be captured and polished.
Together, we bring experience building high performing organizations in commercial enterprises like Microsoft, HTC, AT&T, a big Seattle-based coffee company (you get one guess), as well as a host of non-profits and government agencies. We know technical product management, process analysis, leadership development, and experience design.
The things that draw us together are the same things that set us apart. We like to build on what's working well, and discover what could be great with just a little nudge. We make a point of meeting our clients where they are today, leaving behind any dogma or cookie-cutter models that fit nobody very well. We bring the research, training, coaching, leadership development, all designed to cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, inclusion, and trust.
These days, we’re finding that this needs to be said: black lives matter. Navicet, the organizations we serve, and communities everywhere — all depend on diverse backgrounds and perspectives in order to thrive and grow. We recognize that black, indigenous, and people of color in America have been systematically and unfairly excluded in ways that compromise human dignity, safety, and economic opportunities.
Few things are as difficult as seeing the world through the eyes of others. For the beneficiaries of government institutions, policies, training programs, economic policies, schools, housing policies, media, and countless other social systems, the injustices are all but invisible. By definition, if the system is working for us, we are disincentivized from seeing how it may not work for others.
The protests this year highlight stories of violence and injustice that may not have always been visible to those who were not directly affected. For us, saying that black lives matter is a way of saying, “We hear you. Your voice matters and needs to be heard.” It’s important to say because, apparently, it’s not obvious to everyone. Saying black lives matter is a correction to long standing injustices that harm all of us.
All lives cannot matter until black lives matter too.
