We’ve known Daniel for a long time — since the early days at Microsoft when he and Peter Moon were part of a small but mighty team trying to change how IT worked. From the start, Daniel stood out for his thoughtful approach to change, his natural ability to turn complexity into clarity, and his deep commitment to making things better for people.
Daniel didn’t start out in design or change management, but once he got a taste of it, he never looked back. He helped drive adoption of user-centered practices across Microsoft’s IT organization, and later became a go-to expert in customer and employee experience. His journey took him through consulting roles in CX, where he worked across industries — tech, retail, pharma, insurance, finance — always focused on helping organizations understand their people better and improve the experiences they deliver.
Eventually, Daniel found his way back to Peter and joined Navicet, bringing with him a toolbelt full of hard-earned insights and a passion for incremental, human-centered change. Today, he leads a team and client engagements, helping structure and guide delivery across projects. He’s known for his meticulous planning — not because he’s rigid, but because he knows that a well-laid plan gives you the freedom to adapt when things inevitably shift.
Daniel’s philosophy is simple but powerful: most clients don’t know exactly what they need, and that’s okay. He and the Navicet team meet them where they are, observe their processes, understand their pain points, and help shape a vision for the future. He’s a big believer in rapid experimentation, service design, and testing ideas in the real world. “When you match human-centricity with scrappy experimentation,” he says, “you can get a lot done in a short amount of time.”
Outside of work, Daniel is a family man through and through. Married for almost half of his life, Daniel and his wife have five kids — including twins, a computer science student, a high school actor, and their youngest daughter. He’s an introvert who recharges by watching sci-fi shows, playing mobile games, and cooking meals that accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian diets. He’s also a grill master and a fan of time travel stories, superheroes, and skiing.
If you get the chance to work with Daniel, you’ll quickly see the care he brings to every detail, the calm he brings to every challenge, and the heart he brings to every team. We’re lucky to have him at Navicet.
