Personas offer a simple, memorable snapshot of real people your work needs to serve. They capture what people care about, what they struggle with, and how they behave — helping teams design with clarity and empathy.
About this Course
In this introductory, hands-on course, participants learn how to create and use personas as living tools for product, service, and experience design — not static documentation or marketing artifacts.
Personas turn fragmented and seemingly isolated data points into human stories to reference when making decisions. In this session, participants will practice building personas from qualitative insights and using them to guide design, prioritization, and trade-offs.
The session also touches on how tools like AI can responsibly support persona development — for example, by helping synthesize inputs, explore patterns, or test clarity — while ensuring personas remain grounded in real human experience and judgment.
Together, we’ll explore how personas can be created, refined, and reused over time — supporting everyday decisions, cross-functional collaboration, and clearer conversations about what matters most in an experience.
