Value-Driven Prioritization

Overview

Learn a practical approach for prioritizing work in a way that strengthens business value while keeping human experience in view.

Prioritization is not about producing perfect answers. It is about guiding conversations, making tradeoffs visible, and helping teams move forward with shared understanding.

About this Course

In this course, participants learn a practical framework for evaluating opportunities, balancing competing needs, and aligning teams around shared priorities. Even when prioritization feels messy or overwhelming, participants gain tools that make decisions clearer, more grounded, and easier to explain.

The session explores how to define meaningful dimensions of business value, assess value from different angles, and move from long lists of ideas to actionable, feasible plans. Participants learn how to use prioritization as a practical, adaptable model that supports informed decision-making and helps teams communicate tradeoffs openly.

Participants will also consider how tools like AI can responsibly support prioritization work — such as helping explore scenarios, surface patterns, or articulate tradeoffs — while keeping judgment, context, and shared decision-making firmly in human hands.

By the end of the session, participants will be better equipped to explain what should move forward and why, how choices connect to business outcomes, and which tradeoffs make the most sense in the moment.
