Kathy Doiron

AI Transformation & Organizational Readiness

Kathy has a rare ability to see the big opportunities ahead, translate them across functions and disciplines, and navigate the delicate human realities that come with major transformations. She architects strategy itself—helping organizations figure out where AI actually fits in how work gets done, not just what tools to buy.

Kathy has been leading AI readiness work for years, well before the GenAI wave. At Starbucks, she designed and launched Starbucks Data University, facilitated the creation and monthly gatherings of the AI Center of Excellence, and built data and AI literacy initiatives reaching thousands. She curated the INSPIRE speakers series and developed targeted learning journeys that scaled data and AI fundamentals across the organization. When GenAI emerged, she led the enterprise readiness workstream that resulted in the Global Responsible AI policy launch and training, plus governance process remediations to adapt to emerging considerations.

Kathy brings together cross-functional points of view through facilitation and strategic design so that leaders and teams can better see the path forward. She leads teams through test-and-learn trials where they read signals, develop patterns and practices, and make progress possible without creating overwhelm. She listens deeply and delivers not only what people ask for, but what they truly need to succeed.

She holds an MA in Organizational Systems Renewal from Antioch University and is certified in Prosci change management and Luma design thinking.
