About this Event

Today’s conversations about artificial intelligence can be very confusing. For the layperson, it's hard to imagine just how powerful this technology really is and how dramatically their future will be affected by it. For practitioners the rate at which the field is evolving and the specificity of individual projects makes it challenging to connect with peers and tackle the broader picture of how to manage the emergence of AI responsibly.

This Special 601 Gathering is a round table discussion to bring together world-class practitioners for conversations that aims to identify and prioritize those aspects of AI which are accessible for everyone to understand, practical to influence and actionable to advocate across a broad and diverse range of AI and AI-related projects.

For the purposes of keeping the discussion and Q&A manageable we will agree to assume the following:

1. We are focused on the technologies and policies that are within our reach today and will help drive AI towards a better future

2. For all intents and purposes individuals living in the United States today currently have almost zero data privacy.

3. There are five possible areas where we expect to find actionable ideas:

a) The application of policy.

b) The business model innovations and resulting business issues.

c) The outcomes that can be achieved.

d) The technological sticking points, leverage points and innovations that can shift the ground.

e) Predict the near term AI watershed moments that leaders can use to recognize the need for larger change.

Here are the practitioners who will be participating in the discussion and who you can interact with to ask any question or provide your comments:
